Import data via Excel
Why doesn’t the fields imported from Ecel into the IOS app not the same as those generated as the exported excel file of the application.
The more i use your set of applications the more i become frustrated. Surely, this is fundamental and should have been considered as part of the application design feature set.
I have spent a lot of money on your app bundle and wish I had spent it on other options.
Thank you for the idea.
The purpose of importing from an Excel file is to help the user input content efficiently at the beginning. The user can prepare the content on a desktop device to avoid typing on the iOS device.
The purpose of exporting to an Excel file is for reporting.
Our understanding of your idea is that: You can export the project to an Excel file, and you want to change the project data in the app by changing the exported Excel file.
- Not all the project information is in the Excel file. For example, the project settings.
- The app has no way to control how the user inputs the Excel file. It’s hard for the user to keep the data in Excel be valid. For example, the tree structure.
It’s possible to implement the feature, but the implementation is more challenging than the app itself. That means the feature’s price is higher more than the price of the app, and the user will be in trouble when changing the data.
Thank you.
